Life With Secondary Breast Cancer
about the client
Make 2nds Count is a patient and family focused charity dedicated to giving hope to women and men living with secondary breast cancer across the UK. The charity do this by raising awareness and funding medical research that will contribute to advancing an increased quality of life for patients.
the challenge
To mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2021, Make 2nds Count asked us to produce two films following the everyday lives of two secondary breast cancer patients. We worked closely with the Make 2nds Count team to capture two stunning and honest films; firstly with Tricia in the Scottish Highlands and secondly with Liz in Edinburgh.
what happened
Both films provided the Make 2nds Count community with an insight into life with incurable breast cancer and they were used in digital media throughout the month to highlight the continued need for more investment into research and support.
